My formal training is psychodynamic meaning the study of the unconscious, its interplay and influence upon our conscious minds. However, since every client presents a unique set of challenges, mine is not a “one therapy fits all” approach.
Whether I am seeing a teenage girl who hates her body, a man suffering from anxiety and loneliness, or a couple who are too caught up in parenting to take a time out for themselves, each experience is intended to meet the clients’ individual needs.
My approach is eclectic – blending psychodynamic, family history, cognitive and behavioral therapy as well as incorporating solution-based methods. Sessions are active, collaborative and creative. |
